KAMIL STOCH MISSES ANOTHER WORLD CUP WIN IN ENGELBERG

Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) came in second at skijumping World Cup in Engelberg and missed another triumph shortly. In women's event in Hinterzarten Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT, Fischer) finished second either.

In the first skijumping individual competition in Engelberg Fischer-athletes weren't able to cheer for a victory. Kamil Stoch finished second after good jumps at 129 and 137.5 metres but his compatriot Jan Ziobro (POL) was better today. Third went to Anders Bardal (NOR, Fischer) whio showed jumps at 131 and 140 metres and increased from five to three in the final round. Jakub Janda (CZE, Fischer) was ranked fifth after his tenth spot in first round. Piotr Zyla (POL, Fischer) finished sixth followed by his team mate Klemens Muranka (POL, Fischer). Ole Marius Ingvaldsen (NOR, Fischer) came in ninth.


Iraschko-Stolz runner-up in Hinterzarten
Daniela Iraschko-Stolz could be happy about her anew podium finish in Hinterzarten. The Austrian was only beaten by high-flyer Sara Takanashi (JPN). Irina Avvakumova (RUS, Fischer) made another podium after winning gold and bronce at Universiade. Maja Vtic (SLO, Fischer) was ranked fifth followed by Yuki Ito (JPN, Fischer) and Carina Vogt (GER, Fischer). Jessica Jerome (USA, Fischer) finished tenth.
