Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) and Jørgen Gråbak (NOR, Fischer) succeeded in team sprint at nordic combined World Cup in Ramsau.
Close race
The interspaces between the athletes after skijumping were really close, so the Norwegians Mikko Kokslien and Jørgen Gråbak were within the top favorites despite their 33 seconds disadvantage after finishing skijumping in eleventh spot. Both started very fast into their race and after three rotations they were within the leading group of twelve. After six kilometres the duo kept the pace up together with their compatriots Håvard Klemetsen and Magnus Krog (both NOR, Fischer) of Norway II but the group became progressively smaler. Three laps before finish Gråbak attacked and opened a gap of five seconds and Kokslien maintained their lead up to ten seconds. Runner-up went to Norway II ahead of the Italians Samuel Costa and Alessandro Pittin (both ITA, Fischer skis and boots) who were 40 seconds behind after skijump. Johannes Rydzek and Eric Frenzel (both GER, Fischer skis and boots) came in fifth behind US-boys Fletcher/Lodwick.
