Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) was able to extend his lead in nordic combined triple with another very good performance. Second finished Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots).
Frenzel 26 seconds ahead of Rydzek
Yesterday's result was added to today's skijumping result to find the starting order of cross-country race. Eric Frenzel started eleven seconds ahead of Håvard Klemetsen (NOR, Fischer) and 54 seconds ahead of Rydzek into his 10 kilometre race. Frenzel showed the longest jump at the jumping hill but he wasn't able to land with a telemark by setting a new hill record with 103.5 metres. In cross-coutry he had to find his own pace and crossed the line 26 second ahead of the strong skiing duo Rydzek/Moan. "It was a tough race. Magnus opened the race very hard. Everything went different than expected but I knew that I am able to increase my speed during the last kilometres", Frenzel stated. Klemetsen dropped back to fourth spot, 48 seconds back. Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) finished seventh as yesterday. Fabian Riessle (GER, Fischer skis and boots) came in ninth followed by Alessandro Pittin (ITA, Fischer skis and boots).

Tomorrow the best 30 athletes start into the last stage with two jumps and 15 kilometres skiing.
