Björn Kircheisen (GER)
Miroslav Dvorak (CZE)

Björn Kircheisen (GER, Fischer skis and boots) and Miroslav Dvorak (CZE, Fischer skis and boots) made another podium at nordic combined World Cup in Chaikovsky.
Anew podium result
Runner-up and third on Saturday, same result on Sunday: For Björn Kircheisen and Miroslav Dvorak the long journey to Russians Chaikovsky paid off with each two podiums. On Sunday a jumping round wasn't possible due to strong wind and snowfall so Friday's PCR was used for today's competition. They started in twelfth and eighth position with a round about one minute disadvantage into their cross-country race and regained second by second against Willi Denifl (AUT). After six kilometres they caught up yesterday's winner Tim Hug (SUI, Fischer) ein who first shortened his gap to the Austrian. Then the Swiss had no more energies to fight for the victory but he was able to stay with Kircheisen and Dvorak for further three kilometres until they escaped before the finish. Thomas Kjelbotn (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) came in seventh, Armin Bauer (ITA, Fischer skis, boots and poles) finished tenth.
