Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) succeeded for the first time this winter with her first podium and season's win despite challenging weather conditions ahead of Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) who finished second for the second time this winter. Third went to Olena Pidhrushna (UKR, Fischer skis and boots).
Difficult conditions
Due to the lack of snow in Oberhof only a loop of 2.5 Kilometers could be prepared so the men had to ski two rotations between their prone and standing stage. Additional to gusts of wind the Oberhof fog found it's way into the stadium so there was a strong wind and poor visibility as well as bad snow conditions. With this conditions the Russian Evgeny Ustyugov coped well and he was one of the very few athletes with just one miss. Kauri Koiv (EST, Fischer skis and boots) realized his best World Cup result ever finishing sixth. Like the Estonian Alexey Volkov (RUS, Fischer) shot clear and came in seventh followed by Arnd Peiffer (GER, Fischer). Johannes Thingsnes Bø (NOR, Fischer) finished tenth.

Domracheva celebrates first season's win
For Darya Domracheva her one miss was the base for her first season's win. In addition the Belarussian was 6.3 faster in skiing than the Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen who missed two targets. The third podium spot went to the Ukrainian Olena Pidhrushna after her claer shooting. Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) came in fourth, Valj Semerenko (UKR, Fischer) finished sixth. Weronika Nowakowska-Ziemniak (POL, Fischer) was ranked eighth, Tiril Eckhoff (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) finished tenth.
