Carina Vogt (GER, Fischer) was edged out with a small margin by series winner Sara Takanashi (JPN) at women's skijumping World Cup in Chaikovsky.
Only 0.9 points
After good jumps at 100.5 and 98.5 metres Carina Vogt got a taste of her first World Cup win for a short time. But high-flyer Takanashi sustained her position again - but only with 0.9 points lead. Irina Avvakumova (RUS, Fischer) played on her skyrocketing after the Universiade for another podium after marking a new hill record with 103 metres in the first round. Gyda Enger (NOR, Fischer) finished sixth followed by Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT, Fischer) and Maren Lundby (NOR, Fischer).
