RICHARD FREITAG CELEBRATES A CLEAR VICTORY IN LAHTI

Richard Freitag (GER, Fischer) was unbeatable at long hill in Lahti in team event as well as in today's individual competition. The German succeeded ahead of Anders Bardal (NOR, Fischer), Severin Freund (GER, Fischer) fnished third.
Four athletes made a podium
With two victories in two competitions in Lahti Richard Freitag was extremely successful. After his success with his team the Saxon triumphated in individual competition as well and was already six points ahead Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) after the first round. In the final round the German showed the best jump with 128,5 metres and won 7.3 points ahead of Anders Bardal. Severin Freund and Anders Jacobsen (NOR) were ties for third place. Kamil Stoch dropped back to fifth spot after 124 metres followed by Maciej Kot (POL, Fischer) and Simon Ammann (SUI, Fischer). Tom Hilde (NOR, Fischer) came in eighth ahead of Noriaki Kasai (JPN, Fischer) and Michael Neumayer (GER, Fischer).
