Tarjei Boe (NOR, Fischer) succeeded in men's sprint at biathlon World Cup at Holmenkollen in Oslo. Third went to Andrej Deryzemlya (UKR, Fischer skis and boots).
Tight home win
Tarjei Boe secured a close win in Oslo in his season suffered with health problems. The Norwegian just recovered from Pfeiffer's desease by ehat he missed the first three World Cups won three gold medal at the Worlds in Nove Mesto (mass start and both relays) and now sprint race at Holmenkollen. Boe stayed totally without a miss and stayed just 0.1 seonds ahead of Frenchmen Martin Fourcade (FRA) who started a few minutes behind him. Suurprisingly the Ukrainian Andriy Deryzemlya made a podium with his clear shootings, just 7.7 seconds behind Boe. Simon Fourcade (FRA, Fischer skis and boots) came in sixth ahead of Arnd Peiffer (GER, Fischer). Daniel Mesotitsch (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) finished ninth followed by Andrejs Rastorgujevs (LAT, Fischer skis and boots).
