Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) celebrated her fourth medal in her fourth race at this World Championships. Silver medal went to Andrea Henkel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) ahead of Valj Semerenko (UKR, Fischer).
Tora once again
Tora Berger did it again: After her successes with mixed gold, sprint silver and pursuit gold she secured her third gold medal in 15k individual race with a totally clear shooting. The Norwegian wasn't able to couch her secret after the race: "I don't know why I am so strong. I just try to have fun at the shooting range and don't think about possible misses." Second went to Andrea Henkel who shot clear as well and ended a period without medals for the used to success German biathlon team. Semerenko twins Valj and Vita (both UKR, Fischer) could be pleased about another bronce medal - this time for Valj. The sisters who both missed one target were seperated by fast-skiing Anastasiya Kuzmina (SVK, Fischer) who finished fourth. Seventh went to Ekaterina Glazyrina (RUS, Fischer) followed by Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots). Olga Vilukhina (RUS, Fischer) came in tenth.
