SLOVENIA'S EAGLES DOMINATE WORLD CUP IN WILLINGEN
Slovenia's skijumpers Jurij Tepes (SLO, Fischer), Jaka Hvala (SLO), Peter Prevc (SLO) and Robert Kranjec (SLO, Fischer) dominated team event at World Cup in Willingen and won clearly ahead of Norway and Germany.
Slovenians don't show any weakness
Slovenia's skijumping quartet showed a great performance again and played their favorite role. The athletes didn't show any weakness and jumped at least 140 metres in five of eight attemps. Runner-up came to team Norway consisting of Rune Velta (NOR, Fischer), Tom Hilde (NOR, Fischer), Anders Bardal (NOR, Fischer) and Anders Jacobsen (NOR), 18 points back. Scandinavians edged out local heroes from Germany with Michael Neumayer (GER, Fischer), Richard Freitag (GER, Fischer), Andreas Wellinger (GER) and Severin Freund (GER, Fischer). Team Austria started with a kind of "b-team" around Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) along with Wolfgang Loitzl (AUT), Stefan Kraft (AUT, Fischer) and Martin Koch (AUT, Fischer) and finished only fourth.
