Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (AUT, Fischer) secured a podium result at women's World Cup in Sapporo after just one competition round with changeable wind conditions. Although the Austrian showed the longest jump with 94,5 metres she was beaten by Coline Mattel (FRA) with 8.3 points due to windcompensation and lower style points. Just behind Anette Sagen (NOR, Fischer) finished third ahead of Eva Logar (SLO, Fischer). Katharina Althaus (GER, Fischer) came in ninth followed by Jessica Jerome (USA, Fischer).
