Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer) and Tino Edelmann (GER) celebrated victory in team sprint at nordic combined World Cup in Chaux Neuve. They won ahead of Norway and France.
Germany stays in front
Large parts of cross-country race the teams of Germany and Austria with Christoph Bieler (AUT) and Bernhard Gruber (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) stayed together after starting more or less at the same time after skijumping. During his fourth lap Bieler lost the contact to Frenzel and the German team raced alone almost up to the finish. During the last kilometre the chasing pack came sloser and closer but Frenzel/Edelmann was able to finish first. Jörgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer), in team with Magnus Moan (NOR), came in just 1.4 seconds later. Frenchmen Lacroix/Lamy Chappuis (FRA) were ranked third after photo finish. Germany II consisting of Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots) and Björn Kircheisen (GER, Fischer skis and boots) finished fourth.
