After her victories in Pokljuka and in Oberhof Miriam Gössner (GER, Fischer) was able to celebrate her third World Cup win. She succeeded in sprint race ahead of Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) and Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots).
Gössner fastest skier again
"I started very early and wasn't able to assess my race. Now I see it was a good race", Gössner smiled at the end of the competition. The German missed one target but according to her fastest time in skiing noone had a real chance to beat her. Her biggest rival today was Belarussian Darya Domracheva who was seven seconds bhind Gössner in skiing time and in general after one penalty, too. Third went to Kaisa Mäkäräinen who celebrated her 30th birthday and third season's podium today. As well the Finn missed one target while fourth-placed Andrea Henkel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) cleared all targets. Jana Gerekova (SVK, Fischer) came in sixth followed by Weronika Nowakowska-Ziemniak (POL, Fischer). Valj Semerenko (UKR, Fischer) finished eighth, Mari Laukkanen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) finished tenth.
