DMITRY MALYSHKO SECURED ANOTHER VICTORY IN PURSUIT

Veronika Vitkova (CZE, Fischer skis and boots) secured second rank in pursuit in Oberhof. Third went to Valj Semerenko (UKR, Fischer). Dmitry Malyshko (RUS, Fischer) did it again and secured another victory in pursuit. Ondrej Moravec (CZE, Fischer) finished third.
Great catch-up race
Both the Czech and the Ukrainian showed a great catch-up race in pursuit at biathlon World Cup in Oberhof. They started in 16th and 14th position and missed only one target which means the first season's podium finish for bith ladies. Tora Berger (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) came in fourth despite her seven misses followed by Darya Domracheva (BLR, Fischer skis and boots) who missed five targets. Andrea Henkel (GER, Fischer skis and boots) finished seventh ahead of Kaisa Mäkäräinen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots). Sprint winner Miriam Gössner (GER, Fischer) was able to finish within top ten although she had to ski 1500 additional metres in penalty loop.

Malyshko unbeatable
According to an absolutly clear shooting performance Dmitry Malyshko was able to jubilate about another World Cup win. The Russian was more than 40 seconds ahead of his compatriot Der Russe lag im Ziel mehr als 40 Sekunden vor seinem Landsmann Garanichev (RUS) and the Czech Ondrej Moravec who shot clear as well and increased from start position eleven to three. Sixth went to Evgeny Ustyugov (RUS, Fischer skis and boots), Alexey Volkov (RUS, Fischer) finished eighth followed by Klemen Bauer (SLO, Fischer).
