At stage five of seven in Tour de Ski Justyna Kowalczyk (POL, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated victory without any problems. Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer) lost 37 seconds finishing sixth. Alexey Poltoranin (KAZ, Fischer skis and boots) succeeded in short distance race in Dobbiaco at Tour de Ski. Second went to Petter Northug (NOR, Fischer) just followed by Dario Cologna (SUI, Fischer skis and boots).
Kowalczyk back in top shape
After having a hard day in yesterday's free pursuit Justyna Kowalczyk is back in a top shape in her favorite technique and dominated the race totally. She was 16.5 seconds ahead of the other podium finishers in a classical technique race which was just 3.3 kilometres long. Anne Kyllönen (FIN, Fischer skis and boots) just missed the podium in fourth position, 17.7 seconds back. Therese Johaug came in only sixth and lost 37 seconds inclusive bonus seconds against Kowalczyk. Same to Charlotte Kalla (SWE, Fischer) who finished ninth behind Kikkan Randall (USA, Fischer) and Denise Herrmann (GER, Fischer).

Poltoranin with great performance
Alexey Poltoranin celebrated victory in Dobbiaco eight seconds ahead of his opponents. The Kazakh who didn't show good results in Tour de Ski yet increased his advance more and more after the 1.8k split time. At this time he was 1.3 seonds behind Legkov (RUS) in third position. After finishing everyone knew that it was a great race and his time would be hard to beat. So just Petter Northug and Dario Cologna who finished 8.0 and 8.2 seonds behind came more or less close to him. Therefor they were rewarded qith a few bonus seocnds. Dmitry Japarov (RUS, Fischer) came in foruth, sixth went to Calle Halfvarsson (SWE, Fischer). Lukas Bauer (CZE, Fischer) finished eighth ahead of Finn Haagen Krogh (NOR, Fischer) and Maxim Vylegzhanin (RUS; Fischer). In Overall ranking Petter Northug is still in the lead, Dario Cologan is 16 seconds behind. Russians Alexander Legkov and Maxim Vylegzhanin already have a disadvantage of 23 and 42 seconds behind the Norwegian.
