Andreas Kofler unbeatable again
Andreas Kofler was the best jumper on the large hill in Lillehammer again. The Tyrolean had a lot of bad luck with the wind in the first round as the other favorites, too, but after 129 metres in the final round he was in the leading position again. "I try to do my best and at the moment it works very well. I never won three times in a row yet", Kofler said. After technical problems before his first jump Severin Freund showed strong nerves and secured second place. Anders Bardal became second, too. The Norwegian jumped 140,5 metres in die final round and increased from nine to two. Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) missed the podium again and finished fourth ahead of Richard Freitag (GER, Fischer), Thomas Morgenstern (AUT, Fischer) und Piotr Zyla (POL, Fischer). Jurij Tepes (SLO, Fischer) und Andreas Wank (GER, Fischer) benefitted of good wind conditions at the beginning of the competition and finished ninth and tenth.
