The Norwegian Haavard Klemetsen (Fischer) secured his first World Cup victory ahead of his brand mate Alessandro Pittin (Fischer skis and boots) from Italy.
Pittin showed great running performance
Haavard Klemetsen had a good jump in yesterday's Pocket jump which had to be used for today's competition due to a lot of snow and wind in Lillehammer. The Norwegian started in second position into the 10 kilometre race and secured victory in the final stretch ahead of Alessandro Pittin. The Italian was the fastest in skiing and shorted the gap more and more. Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer) couldn't close the gap to the leading three athletes and finished sixth ahaed of his team colleagues Björn Kircheisen and Fabian Riessle (GER, both Fischer skis and boots). The Southtyrolean Lukas Runggaldier (ITA, Fischer) came in tenth.
