Kranjec unbeatable
That's what the Slovenian missed so far: A home victory at the flying hill in Planica. Now Robert Kranjec did it and secured victory especially due to his great first flight which brought him a 15 points lead. Simon Ammann finished second, he moved up in the final round after 222 metres. Third went to Martin Koch ahead of Daiki Ito (JPN, Fischer) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer). Andreas Kofler (AUT, Fischer) was ranked sixthfollowed by Severin Freund and Richard Freitag (both GER, Fischer), Kamil Stoch (POL, Fischer) and Bjoern Einar Romoeren (NOR, Fischer) completed top ten.

Bardal wins Overall World Cup
Although he finished only twelfth today Anders Bardal (NOR, Fischer) secured victory in Overall World Cup. The Norwegian is now exactly 100 points ahead of Gregor Schlierenzauer before the last ski flying competition an Sunday. On Sunday only 30 athletes are allowed to start so Bardal has at least one point safe if he competes.
