Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer) shortly missed the victory in the last race this winter. He came in second ahead of the suprising athlete of the day, Taihei Kato (JPN, Fischer).
Kokslien moved up from 17 to 2
Originally a Gundersen competition with two jumps from long hill and 15k cross-country was scheduled for the last season's competition but due to a soft inrun only one round was held from ski jump with 10k skiing. Only the best 30 athletes in Overall ranking were allowed to start. The strong skier Mikko Kokslien was only in 17th position, 1:50 minutes behind, after jumping but he showed a great catch-up and finished only 2,3 seconds behind premiere winner Bryan Fletcher (USA). Kato crossed the line in third position.

Watabe missed Overall World Cup win
Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) came in seventh in the last race and missed the possible victory in Overall World Cup. His opponent Jason Lamy Chappuis finished just behind him.
