Mikko Kokslien (NOR)
Akito Watabe (JPN)
Bernhard Gruber (AUT)

Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) secured another victory at Nordic Combined World Cup in Almaty. The Norwegian won ahead of Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) and Bernhard Gruber (AUT, Fischer skis and boots).
Second win in Almaty
Mikko Kokslien did it again and claimed his third season's victory. After his triumph yesterday he caught up second by second against the best jumpers Akito Watabe and Bernhard Gruber. One kilometre before finish he set the pace and opened a gap. "I had a good jump and I hoped to repeat yesterday's success. I think my shape is becoming better and better und I concentrated on my own race. During the race I felt better and better up to the end", said Kokslien.

Watabe runner-up in Overall ranking
Watabe finished second and shortened the gap in Overall ranking to Lamy Chappuis a bit. Fabian Riessle (GER, Fischer skis and boots) came in fourth after a great skiing performance. Sixth went to Jörgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer) ahead of Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots). Alessandro Pittin (ITA, Fischer skis and boots) and Jan Schmid (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) finished eighth and ninth.
