Alessandro Pittin (ITA)

Alessandro Pittin celebrated a flawless hattrick during the World Cup weekend in Chaux Neuve. The Italian secured his third victory in a row ahead of his brand mate Jörgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer) and Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer skis and boots).
Pittin unbeatable again
"I had a big advantage because I had such a good jump. I could always count on my skiing. After my good jump I knew that it would be a lonely race for me", said Pittin. After his 112,5 metres jump he was only ten seconds behind before skiing. Soon the fast Italian detached his opponents and in the finish he was 16 seconds ahead of the others. Jörgen Graabak was the fastest skier in the final stretch of the chasing group and he claimed a second place ahead of Mikko Kokslien who started more than one minute behind. Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer) came in fifth, Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) finished seventh. Jan Schmid (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) was ranked tenth.
