Simon Fourcade (FRA, Fischer skis and boots) shows great results in a row at the moment. In Nove Mesto the French biathlete made a podium again only a hair's breadth behind the winner.
Fourcade-brothers together on podium
It was another one of those races when the wind and snow made a perfect competition almost impossible. In spite of all gust of winds Simon Fourcade did a great race with a phantastic skiing performance. Although he missed three targets he was able to celebrate another second place. After the standing shooting he even looks like the safe winner but he couldn't keep his high speed until the finish and came in 2.3 seconds behind Svendsen but ahead of his brother Martin.

Andrei Makoveev (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) showed a good race again and finished fifth. His brand mate Fredrik Lindström (SWE, Fischer skis and boots) came in seventh while Dmitry Malyshko (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) who allocated victory in standing shooting with three penalties finished ninth ahead of Andreas Birnbacher (GER, Fischer).
