Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated a World Cup victory for Fischer-team in individual competition in Oberstdorf. His brand mate Björn Kircheisen (GER, Fischer skis and boots) made a podium, too.
The Norwegian response the attack
Mikko Kokslien secured victory in the individual competition in Oberstdorf. The Norwegian was still a few positions behind after skijumping but together with some other fast skiers as Björn Kircheisen he shortened the gap second by second. When the German attacks in the last lap at Burgstall only Kokslien and one of his team mates could follow the attack. In the final stretch Kokslien was the best sprinter and won ahead of his opponents, Kircheisen finished third. "At the Burgstall I already knew that the others would be faster when the Norwegians followed me", said Kircheisen.

Watabe missed the podium
Four seconds behind the top three the rest of the former leading group were fisghting for the next positions. Akito Watabe (JPN, Fischer skis and boots) secured fourth place after making several podiums this winter. Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer) came in fifth ahead of (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) who tumbled nearby the finish yesterday. Jörgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer) finished eighth ahead of Fabian Riessle (GER, Fischer skis and boots) and Jan Schmid (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles).
