Norwegian Nordic Combined team secured victory in team competition in Oberstdorf. The team with Fischer athletes Mikko Kokslien (NOR, Fischer skis and boots), Jan Schmid (NOR, Fischer skis, boots and poles) and Jörgen Graabak (NOR, Fischer) won ahead of Germany and Austria.
Tight race until the final stretch
After the ski jump only 18 seconds were between the three best teams Austria, Norway and Germany. So all three athletes were together after a few minutes and it became a tight race until the final stretch. Austrian Bernhard Gruber (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) tumbled in the stadion and he lost the leading position. Noways Graabak took victory by a hair's breadth ahead of Germany with the Fischer athletes Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots), Fabian Riessle (GER, Fischer skis and boots) and Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer). Austria finished third with Mario Stecher (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) and Bernhard Gruber.
