Severin Freund (GER, Fischer) jumped up and away on large hill in Falun and succeeded with more than 20 points advantage after setting a new hill record followed by Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) and Rune Velta (NOR, Fischer).

Bernhard Gruber World Champion in nordic combined on large hill
Bernhard Gruber (AUT, Fischer skis and boots) is the new World Champion on large hill in Falun. Silver went to Francois Braud (FRA, Fischer skis and boots) followed by Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots) who won his third medal.

Norway's women celebrate relay title followed by Sweden and Finland
The Norwegian skiers Heidi Weng, (NOR), Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots), Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen (NOR) and Marit Bjørgen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) seemed to be good recovered after their weak freestyle race and secured the World Championship title ahead of the pure Fischer squad from Sweden who outsprinted Finland for silver.

Charlotte Kalla goes for gold in adverse conditions
Charlotte Kalla (SWE, Fischer) is the unchallenged new World Champion in 10k free race. The heavy snowfall was not able to stop the Swede who succeeded ahead of totally surprising medaliists Jessie Diggins and Caitlin Gregg (both USA).

Once more there was full house at the Fischer press conference. No wunder, because there was the who-is-who in Nordic skiing on the stage. Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots), Stina Nilsson (SWE, Fischer), Calle Halfvarsson (SWE, Fischer), Ola Vigen Hattestad (NOR, Fischer skis and boots), Dario Cologna (SUI, Fischer skis and boots), Bernhard Gruber (AUT, Fischer skis and boots), Eric Frenzel (GER, skis and boots), Severin Freund (GER, Fischer) joined the Fischer Race Family. Also Torgny Mogren (SWE, Fischer) 1993 World Champion over 50 kilometres in Falun (SWE) was a popular interview partner.

German eagles celebrate mixed title
The German skijumping team was able to celebrate another gold medal with mixed skijumping title. Carina Vogt (GER, Fischer), Richard Freitag (GER), Katharina Althaus (GER) and Severin Freund (GER, Fischer) succeeded ahead of team Norway and the defending Champions from Japan.

German nordic combined team represented by Tino Edelmann (GER), Eric Frenzel (GER, Fischer skis and boots), Fabian Rießle (GER, Fischer skis and boots) and Johannes Rydzek (GER, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated the World Championship title in team event. They succeeded ahead of Norway and France.

Norway wins gold in both teamsprints
Ingvild Flugstad Østberg (NOR) and Maiken Caspersen Falla (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) as well as Finn Hågen Krogh (NOR, Fischer) and Petter Northug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) secred gold medal in both teamsprints of Nordic Ski World Championsghips in Falun. The other medallists are Sweden and Poland in women's race and Russia and Italy on men's side.

Therese Johaug and Maxim Vylegzhanin capture gold medals in skiathlon
Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated a relatively clear win in women's 15k skiathlon in Falun. Charlotte Kalla (SWE, Fischer) won bronze. In men's skiathlon the defending Champion Dario Cologna (SUI, Fischer skis and boots) was shortly beaten by Maxim Vylegzhanin (RUS, Fischer) who celebrated the title. Alex Harvey (CAN, Fischer) secured bronze after winning silver in the sprint.

Audun Laugaland takes second at the Tartu Marathon
Audun Laugaland (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) missed the victory at the Tartu Marathon just about a margin after 63 kilometres in classic technique and finished in second place behind Eldar Roenning (NOR). On the womens side Tatjana Mannima (EST, Fischer) claimed victory on home turf ahead of Confortola-Wyatt (ITA, Fischer) and Triin Ojaste (EST, Fischer). Thanks to todays victory, the second in a row, Tatjana Mannima took over the lead in the FIS Marathon cup overall ranking. On the mens side Petr Novak (CZE, Fischer skis, boots and poles) is still in the lead however he wasn't at the start today.

Czech Republic and Russia win biathlon relay in Oslo
Czech biathletes Eva Puskarcikova (CZE, Fischer skis and boots), Gabriela Soukalova (CZE, Fischer), Jitka Landova (CZE, Fischer skis and boots) and Veronika Vitkova (CZE, Fischer skis and boots) celebrated an unchallenged victory in women's relay in Oslo (NOR). Second went to Italy followed by France. Men's relay was won after final sprint by Russia's Evgeniy Garanichev (RUS, Fischer skis and boots), Maxim Tsvetkov (RUS), Dmitry Malyshko (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) and Anton Shipulin (RUS, Fischer skis and boots) followed by Germany and Austria.

Charlotte Kalla (SWE, Fischer) came back into World Cup with an outstanding performance. The Swede made her home audience celebrate after her incredible lead against Norway's Marit Bjørgen (NOR, Fischer skis and boots) and Therese Johaug (NOR, Fischer skis and boots). Finn Hågen Krogh (NOR, Fischer) secured a double victory with today's success in 15k free race after winning the sprint yesterday. Marcus Hellner (SWE, Fischer) came in third.

Mannima claims victory at Transju Classic and Novak takes second place
Tatjana Mannima (EST, Fischer) won the Transju Classic after 56 kilometre with 4.1 seconds ahead of the competitors. On the mens side Petr Novak (CZE, Fischer skis, boots and poles) had to accept defeat against Stanislav Rezac just about the margin of 9 seconds. With his second place today, Novak is able to increase his lead in the overall ranking of the FIS Marathon Cup.
