With a completely new construction Fischer now combines the benefits of two opposing materials through special connecting layers: Air Carbon and Alu Core.

Compared to high-quality Alu 7075 this results in 20% less weight and 30% more stiffness with 30% higher resistance to breaking. The aluminium core gives the shaft its shape and makes the pole extremely tough – the shaft does not break even on impact with sharp edges!

The pole's low weight and extreme stiffness are thanks to Air Carbon. The skier benefits from the considerably improved swing weight and high breaking strength (with no bending like aluminium).
This also defines the field of use for this pole: racing and ski touring racing (contact with gates and ski edges) and in Alpine, rocky terrain.
WHEN LESS IS MORE
Compared to Alu 7075 the new Air Carbon HM 20% shaft stands out immediately through its lower weight. The saving is an impressive 15% without any negative impact on stiffness. A mere 92 g/m shaft weight makes an essential contribution to the better swing weight and finer balance. The result: the arms are less tired at the end of a day's skiing!

The shaft also stands out through its high breaking strength and stiffness – it cannot be bent out of shape.

KNOW-HOW TRANSFER AT ITS FINEST

Fischer's leading position in Nordic skiing is thanks to its numerous intelligent technology concepts which, following their successful implementation, are now also logically being integrated in the Alpine sector, too. Ski touring race skiers, therefore, will now also be able to benefit immediately from the QUICKFIT STRAP for the fastest possible insertion/removal without changing the fit of the strap and CORKLITE HANDLE for harmonious pole action.
