Cortina and Kitzbühel – Hosp (AUT), Schmidhofer (AUT) and Thaler (ITA) shine with Olympics just around the corner
The men and women who make up our Fischer racing family had plenty to do last weekend. The ladies faced nothing short of a marathon speed programme with two Super Gs and two Downhills while the men were up against tough weather conditions on the Streif in Kitzbühel. Nevertheless, our athletes demonstrated once again what they have in them, with the Olympics just around the corner. The lucky ones this time were Nicole Hosp (AUT), Nicole Schmidhofer (AUT) and Patrick Thaler (ITA).
Adelboden (SUI) and Zauchensee (AUT) – great races with great success
The Alpine athletes in the Fischer Sports team had a packed programme again last weekend. While the men were competing in a Giant Slalom and Slalom in Adelboden in Switzerland the women took on a Downhill and Super Combined in Zauchensee, Austria.
New year gets off to a good start – Mölgg (ITA) clinches 3rd place in Bormio
As the races planned for Zagreb last weekend had to be moved to Bormio in Italy because of the mild weather conditions, the piste workers and organisers had their hands full. After days of sleet, the grippy-soft piste at the bottom of the Stelvio run posed a special challenge for the racers and their equipment providers.
