Die Person My name is Christian Jenny, 20 years old, from Vorarlberg, Austria. I started freestyle-skiing when I was sixteen and in the last four years I competed in various contests across Austria and Germany with some nice results. I try to push my level of skiing every year and consequently, I spent most of my free time at the mountains or watching ski-movies with my friends. For the coming season 2011/12 I am going to live in Innsbruck – the perfect place to improve my riding as part of the Fischer Freeski Team!

Sometimes I get pretty pissed when I can’t stomp a trick.

rocking a perfect and freshly shaped kicker
My homespot is
Stubaier Glacier (www.diedamspark.at, www.stubai-zoo.com) When I am at home I love to go shredding at the Diedamskopf and its park. It is a kind of a insider’s tip – a very sunny ski resort close to my home town Raggal – perfect for some Vorarlberg shredding. However, as I will spent the season 2011/12 living in the “heart of the alps” at Innsbruck, I will be skiing a bunch of perfect ski resorts and glaciers. At the beginning of the season you will probably find me mostly on the Stubaier glacier as it is close to Innsbruck, got lots of snow the whole season and offers a huge park with three nice kickers in a row and lots of jibbing-stuff. Besides that I am looking forward to rock a number of other parks with my buddies not too far away, like Ehrwalder Almbahn, Mayrhofen, Hintertux or Serfaus.
My biggest achievements in skiing as in life are
Stomping a dubcork12 and dubcork10 (until now;) and in finishing my apprenticeship
A perfect day in the mountains is made of
sun, friends and kickers
My plans for this season are
to go filming with the freeski-crew, improve my contest results and have tons of fun with my friends on the mountains.
My favorite dish is
Lasagne al forno
The question that others should ask me is
“What up, duuude”?
The question that i m asking myself is
Why can’t every day be a sunny ski day?
